Moderate About this route
This is a circular route with varied sections that combine road, track, and path. Some sections of the path (less than 500 m) are very technical and it is usual to do them on foot.
The starting point is from San Agustín, taking the track that leads to the road towards Olba.
From there, there is the option to continue 1 km on the road to visit the Mirador del Mijares (picnic area with excellent views of the Mijares River gorge).
Subsequently, the detour is taken towards Collao Rollo, where the track transforms into a path that ascends to Puntalico and Pozo de La Muela (with a fountain).
From this point, continue on the track to Los Peiros, reconnecting with a stony path where it will occasionally be necessary to walk.
The itinerary passes by the Fuente de las Abejas, later exiting to the track that leads to Los Mases.
After crossing Los Mases and the Roman bridge, one arrives almost at the Fuente de la Carrasca, where a detour to the right leads along a track that gradually narrows until reaching Mas de Pastores.
From there, take the road coming from La Puebla de Arenoso and, before the junction with the road that connects Villanueva and Barracas, turn right again onto a dirt track.
The final section crosses the Hermitage and Castle of Pradas, finally returning to San Agustín.
