About this route

Linear route, 17 km long and about three hours duration, if we do it calmly on a mountain bike. We start the route next to the A1701 road, on the climb that takes us to Calle Mayor.

After a few meters, we pass by the Church Square and the San Roque Portal, where we turn right and then left (next to the school), to head towards the Hermitage of San Lamberto. Behind it begins the track, initially paved, which will take us without loss to the Truchas picnic area. The recreational area is indicated at the beginning of the track.

The route stands out for the large number of constructions and dry stone walls that we encounter at every step. We will also enjoy the welcome shade provided by the pine trees, which abound along the route.

At 6.5 km from the start, very close to the picnic area, we come across a fountain that has a horse head carved in wood. One kilometer later, we will arrive at the picnic area, which has a barbecue area and numerous tables where we can spend the day with family or friends.

We continue a few more meters to pass by the camping area and reach the old Mill, 8.5 kilometers from the start and the furthest point from Mosqueruela.

After enjoying the spectacular surroundings in which we find ourselves, we begin the way back to Mosqueruela.

A highly recommended route, to enjoy the tranquility and beauty that this area of the Gúdar Javalambre region offers us.
