Heritage
Ciempozuelos preserves a prominent historical and archaeological heritage dating back to the Early Bronze Age, with findings such as the Bell Beaker of Ciempozuelos. From the Roman period, monumental remains linked to the Jarama River stand out. The Salinas Espartinas (Asset of Cultural Interest) are particularly relevant, testifying to a continued historical exploitation. In the urban area, the Plaza de la Constitución (16th century), the Church of Santa María Magdalena with its Renaissance tower and valuable artistic works, the Hermitage of Our Lady of Consolation, and the Convent of Santa Clara stand out. This heritage is complemented by a valuable natural environment integrated into the Regional Park of the Southeast.
